A 5 day cruise on Royal Caribbean Cruise line from New Jersey to Bermuda. A nice ship and a fun time, but cut short by the tropical storm Cristobal.
The Royal Caribbean Explorer Of The Seas. Built in 2000 on holding 3,000 guests. (Similar in size to the Sapphire Princess which we took to Alaska that was built in 2004 holding 2,700 guests)

There was this little problem with a tropical storm named Cristobal. What was supposed to be 2 days in the sun and sand of Bermuda turned into one day of rain by the buckets. The first two pictures are highly misleading as it was raining the entire time. Since our snorkeling excursion was cancelled due to wind and high waves we took a taxi tour around the island which looked pretty much like picture 3, until it got really bad and looked like picture 4.

Pretty standard activates for a cruise. Plan your day around dinner and the main show, then hit the bars for drinks and live music. About the only thing different on this trip was weather watching. Seeing the storms roll in was the on deck activity that kept everyone wondering what Bermuda was going to be like.
