Random Examples
Here are some random example pictures. Note the number of colors in the GIF versions of the pictures. I have tried to reduce the number of colors to the minimum without a great loss in quality. Some images do not look good even at 256 colors but that's dependant on the image.
This is the painting "Tower of Babel" by Bruegel. Notice the diference in the histogram between the full color image and the 256 color gif image. All of the image below show the type of effect.
